Process Improvement in Fiat Chrysler Power train plant April 2016

Used DMAIC methodology for power train productivity improvement and cost reduction through process improvement.

Created and understood the Project charter, SIPOC, Flow map, Process capability and stability, Normality check, Fishbone, FMEA.

Outcome - Reduction in NVAA, Cost, Process improvement, increase in production, Learning of Minitab. Malaria Nano-Biosensor March 2016

Detailed practical and theoretical study was done including report writing and presentation, in detecting Malaria disease to ensure curable treatment at an early stage.

An electric Nano-biosensor was created which worked on Di-electro-phoresis process; the advanced study included the same principle using Graphene electrode as they showed its anti-corrosion nature. Frontal, Side, Roof and Head on crash analysis with Truck/Car for Vehicle integrity, Occupant protection and Total impact December 2015

Frontal Crash Analysis: Crash analysis was done on a truck model, including airbags to the steering, positioning a dummy to seat and applying seatbelt to collide into finite rigid wall and a deformable barrier.

Side Crash Analysis: Analysis was done on a car/truck including dummy, airbag, seatbelts to see the impact of sideward collision with a pole and a moving deformable barrier.

Roof crush Analysis: Crash analysis was done on a car to see the impact of a static loading device on the roof to obtain minimum damage.

Head on collision: A head on collision was done with a car and truck model.

Results achieved: HIC No, Crash absorption, total energy absorption, displacement, declaration Head Injury Criterion Value, Chest Severity index, deformation at A and B pillar. Software: LS- dyna, Hypermesh Lithium-air battery for Hybrid and Electric vehicle November 2014

Detailed research, presentation and report were made on the topic of production aspects of Lithium-air.

A study of electro-chemical compositions, Charging-discharging of li-air battery, problems and their solution faced in production, future use, cost, making lighter weight and effective production was done.

Achievements: Knowledge of different batteries, Electrical components, electrical sub-system, serial data logging, vehicle infotainment, vehicle testing and vehicle safety. Analyze Fatigue life of Flip-chip Package April 2015

A flip chip package which consists of a substrate, under fill, solder balls and a chip was designed in hypermesh, with the solder balls having completely filled clean and non clean models.

The meshing of the complete package was done and extreme meshing was done at the solder balls area.

The fatigue life, principal stresses and strains for the solder balls were calculated for both cases from Abaqus. The project was graded as A.

Design and stress optimization of Power train bracket September 2014

To perform an initial mesh and conduct a stress analysis on a bracket subjected to RBE2 spider loading.

Redesigned the bracket to reduce the maximum principal stress by at least 10% in the Stress concentrated area resulting into increasing durability of component. Tools used Hypermesh and Optistruct. Solar Stirling Engine (Beta Type) May 2010

Stirling engine was so arranged in a position with the parabolic disc such that the sun rays reflects from the disc and heats up the bottom of the engine. The piston inside the engine starts moving up and down and thus generates power.
