Helped establish and operate innovative new DoD, health care facility on Robins AFB flight line for easier employee access to primary/orthopedic care and workers compensation cost reduction. Duties included working with a Nurse Practitioner and USAF physician’s to coordinate employee rehabilitation, perform job site injury assessment, ergonomic assessment, OSHA safety protocol awareness, and patient education.
Over 2400 patients seen from onset. Total direct cost savings to Robins AFB in excess of $463,000 as of March 2014. Indirect savings over $1.5 million (compensation, travel, major procedures, aircraft readiness, and return to work, RTW, time.)
