• Developed clearinghouse and video-on-demand (VOD) solutions for iNDemand. Created business model that produced major cost savings for affiliates. Solution provided billing service and client, knowledge transfer of direct reporting requirements, and integration of services from selected vendors.

• Founded CUO, Inc., and directed all corporate functions, including finances, operations, and business development. Formulated all policies and procedures, recruited personnel, and guided company’s growth and market penetration.
• Became first company to license software for subscriber management as an in-house PC-based solution
• Developed business strategy focusing on providing cost-effective computer solutions, low-cost billing solutions for cable companies, and subscriber management systems.
• Grew company from start-up to multi-million dollar company
• Released first in-house subscriber management and billing system in 1980, rapidly expanded client base to national level.
• Led entry into foreign market in 1988, delivering first international software license to client in Saipan, and then later Bermuda, Trinidad, and the Dominican Republic. By 1992 client base included companies in Spain, Romania, Hungary, and Philippines.
• Negotiated sale of company to CableData in 1994 and remained on as President of CUO subsidiary. Led continued growth of company’s services, expanding to 50 countries.
• Increased revenue by more than 30% annually and became largest provider of turnkey subscriber management and billing systems. Oversaw migration to ASP web-based services.
• Developed and implemented first addressable interface between HITS and subscriber management system.
• First company to install US-based subscriber management software in foreign languages, including Mandarin, Spanish, Romanian, Russian, Hungarian, French, and others.
