Work Experience.
I taught Biology and Earth Science at Hillside High School, in Upland CA. I served as the Science Department Chairperson from 9/2002 to 2015. I also taught Chemistry and Physics 9/2002-6/2007. I taught English IV and was the English Department Chairperson from 9/2000-6/2002. I coached Boys Basketball and Girls Softball in 2000-2002.
I taught 7th grade Science in the same district, at Upland Jr. High School from 9/1990 to 6/2000. I developed the curriculum for 7th grade Science by articulating with Upland High School Science Department and the 10 Elementary Schools in UUSD. I was part of a team that developed a CORE approach which emphasized cross curricular instruction and greater acountability. I taught English language learners using primarily SDAIE methodologies from Fall of 1992-Spring 2000. I taught Technology and Computers 9/1990-6/1995. I was Science Department Chairperson 1993-1996. I coached Cross Country 1994 and refereed Football, Basketball and Volleyball from 1991 to present.
I was a science tutor at Total Learning in Diamond Bar, serving Chinese students, for the spring and summer sessions of 2015.
Medical Technologist/Lab Night Manager at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital, Glendora CA-1/1986-12/1988. I collected patient samples, performed various analysis, interpreted and disseminated results in Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Bacteriology, Urinalysis and Blood Bank. I was also the night manager of the lab.
Medical Technologist at Doctors Hospital, West Covina CA. 1/1986-9/1988 I collected patient samples, performed various analysis, interpreted and disseminated results in Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Bacteriology, Urinalysis and Blood Bank.
Toxicologist at Smith-Kline Bioscience Laboratories, Woodland Hills CA. 7/1984-12/1986. I analzed various samples for drugs, medicines and toxins primarily using a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer and other methods.
College Chemistry Teacher at Citrus Community College, Glendora CA. 9/1982-6/1983. I taught Chemistry 110 and the concurrent Lab. I created the curriculum for both the lecture and the lab.
Chemist at Western Analytical Laboratories in Chino CA 6/1982-6/1983 I analyzed cities water, sludge and electroplating solutions using various methods, interpreted, analyzed and disseminated the results.

Hobbies and Activities
I have coached little league baseball for 9 years. I am an avid hiker/camper/outdorsman. I study Spanish and Astronomy. I own Metropolis Paint Company.
