Skills
• Crew foreman up to 30 members
• 30 plus years experience in all areas of residential, commercial and industrial electrical installations commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Instrumentation experience with hours to qualify for eligibility to challenge certification.
• PLC installation and troubleshooting. Some design and programming.
• Excellent experience in synchronous, wound rotor, large HP AC and DC motors and control. Installation and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and abilities. Useful when overhauling early model GE breakers (circa 1960) and restoring/repairing vehicles.
• Long experience dealing with people of varied backgrounds and education/skill levels, including Inuit, American and Asian Indian, Indonesian, Filipino, Libyan/Algerian/Palestinian people. Initiation and training of indigenous recruits in Canada, Alaska, Libya both local and imported crews from Thailand and Indonesea.
• Very good computer knowledge, both hardware and software, use of software (word, excel, visio, outlook, et al) and troubleshooting, software and hardware. Used daily on my own equipment (multi computer network in my home) and as IT responsible for field equipment
