Mohawk College student of the Electrical Engineering Technician- Power program with good communication and organizational skills and a strong knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance. Analytical and detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability. Good organization and time management skills, with experience working on a production line. Available for work May, 2015, willing to relocate within Canada.
Highlights of Qualifications
•Upon completion of Electrical Engineering Technician Power program will have completed all levels of the in-school curriculum for the Industrial Electrician apprenticeship
•Able to install, examine, replace or repair electrical components and troubleshoot industrial and mechanical control systems and devices
•Capable of designing, developing and testing automatic industrial process control systems and prototypes according to established standards and processes
•Experience with PLC programming using Microprocessor and Microcontroller including troubleshooting with Rockwell Automation software and Allen Bradley PLC Chassis
•Able to setup up and troubleshoot PLC Ethernet controls.
•Installation and troubleshoot of 3-phase transformers in Delta and Wye configuration
•Experience with installing and troubleshooting VFDs.
•Experience in reading, interpreting, modifying and producing electrical schematic diagrams using AutoCAD 2016
•Experience in cutting, installing and threading conduit for electrical wiring
•Able to interpret component specification information, electrical code specifications and has good flow over CSA Canadian Electrical Code 2015
•Excellent customer service and communication skills
•Computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
•Fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi
