Responsible for microbiological testing of patient’s samples.

To assist the Consultant microbiologist in identifying the organisms by direct microscopy and biochemical tests as well as drug sensitivity against the particular finding.

Maintaining the quality control of drugs by ATCC Strains and also preservation of the strain.

Environmental sampling in the hospital premises to control the hospital acquired infection (HAI)

Testing the disinfectants used in hospital disinfection policy (CIDEX,D-125).

Microbiological testing of drinking water of hospital.

Conducting personal hygiene audits of the hospital staff.

To maintain stock indent in the lab.

Monitoring the cleaning schedule in hospital premises.
