Final Year Project:

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF ROTARY VEGETABLE WASHING MACHINE This machine’s operation is very simple. There are drums inner and outer, the inner drum is graded and rotates with the shaft and the outer drum is stationary. The graded drum has brushes on the inner circumference and the brushes are also present on the outer surface of shaft. In operation, the dirty vegetables are put into the drum through the hopper. The vegetables slide down the hopper to the graded drum. Water is sprayed with pressure at various sections of the drum. The rotating action of the brushes along with the sprayed water helps in dislodging and thus cleaning the mud from the vegetables. The vegetables slide down to the outer side of the drum due to the inclination provided and come out from the opening provided at the exit. The dirty water coming out of the machine is collected in the sump from where it can be recycled.

RADIO CONTROLLED AIRCRAFT

A radio controlled aircraft is controlled remotely by a hand held transmitter and receiver within the aircraft. The receiver controls the corresponding servos that moves the control surfaces based on the position of joysticks on the transmitter, which in turn affect the orientation of the plane. Planes fly by the virtue of Bernoulli principle on their wings. Air being pushed under the wings only accounts for a small portion of the lifts forces that make an airplane fly. The real forces results from the partial vacuum created above the wings

(Bernoulli principle).
