To establish a career in engineering where I can demonstrate the learning outcomes of the Mechanical Engineering program of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP), a program accredited by the US-based outcomes-oriented ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), Engineering Accreditation Commission.
Knowledge with hands-on experience in the proper installation and shaft alignment of mechanical plant rotating equipment. This skill is applicable in heavy construction projects, commissioning or maintenance.
Design Project: A Mechanical Can Crusher – a design of mechanical can crusher by incorporating the topics learned from machine design for small communities or businesses for their recycling benefits. Also, to reduce the harmful environmental impacts of refining new aluminum cans. As a member of the group, I participated by finishing the work assigned to me and attending all meetings and group studies.
Design Project: Design of 15MW Power Plant in Los Banos, Laguna - a design of three different power plants namely Coal-Fired, Diesel and Geothermal Power Plants that will be suitable in the specific area in los banos,laguna. Based from design, economical and environmental constraints, the most suitable is Geothermal Power Plant that will be erected and the steam will be extracted from Mt. Bulalo near the MacBan geothermal plants. As a co-leader of the group, I managed the Geothermal Power Plant design and computations.
Design Project: A Selection of Industrial Blower for Powermark Systems – a selection from three different types of blower that will be suitable in the company specifications. The selected blower will be placed in the Burner. As a member of the group, I searched for the blower specification that will be suited in the company, also I searched for the availability of the blower in the market.
Research: Efficiency of Compressed Air against Gasoline driven Automobiles – this research aims to lessen the fuel consumption of an automobile in the Philippines. This research also aims to calculate and evaluate what is more efficient between Compressed Air and the conventional gasoline fuel with the help of solidworks CFD or Computational Fluid Dynamics to compute for their efficiencies. As a leader of the group, I constructed the design model and executed the CFD to analyze the results and come into a conclusion of our study.
