Description:

A major Canadian telecommunications company providing telephone services, wireless communications, high-speed and wireless Internet.

It is a simple, ordering application. The application is used by customer sales representatives (CSRs) to create, manage telecom orders for end customers. The application supports ordering for Telephone, Internet, DTH and IPTV lines of business.

The OrderMAX application enables CSRs to capture new orders, modify orders, process customer moves, and change customers’ portfolios of services.

The application runs on J2EE (Struts Framework) along with many backend web services using Oracle Web Logic Server. Log 4j is used for logging and Castor for XML generation.

Responsibilities:

1. Involved in SDLC life cycle starting from Requirement Gathering.

2. Involved in implementing core java logics.

3. Involved in the core development and design part.

4. Designing UI components using JSP and implement those into Project, Creating managed Bean classes VO and writing mapper classes manually.

Project Description:

A major health care company providing health care services.

An application used for generation of reports and schedules. Checking the status of existing schedules and providing generate a new schedule or to hold an existing schedule.

The application runs on Spring framework and hibernate is used for persistence, along with DB2 Database.

Technology: Java 1.6, Spring, hibernate, Jquery, Ajax, Restful Webservice .

Environment: Rational Software Architect, DB2.
