VP Information Technology and Security (2007 – Present)

Provide technical leadership at the corporate level to a group of 8 direct reports, on-site staff of 50 professionals and over 66 technology staff in India and Philippines. Spearhead strategies to cut costs, bolster profitability and boost productivity via the adoption and utilization of technology. Plan and manage a $35 million+ annual budget. Ensure that the company’s IT infrastructure is performing at optimal levels. Define and lead disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Drive security initiatives as leader of the corporate information technology security group, including instituting corporate technology security standards and procedures in support of health care and financial customers. Direct efforts for customer security audits to meet regulatory compliance such as PCI, NIST, HIPPA, GLBA and SSAE 16. Review and coordinate with legal department to ensure security compliancy of customer contracts. Selected Contributions:

Slashed the number of servers for a customer private cloud solution by directing the implementation of VMware, Oracle 11g, Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS and EMC SAN / NAS resulting in immediate savings of $300,000.

Designed and managed the building of a new TEIR III data center.

Successfully planned and consolidated 4 data centers to a new data center within 48 hours resulting in no customer downtime.

Generated annual savings of over $250,000 by conceiving and establishing a unique program to facilitate the procurement of refurbished servers and desktops.

Produced over $200,000 in overall contract cost reductions by leading productive negotiations with top vendors such as EMC, Symantec, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and AT&T/SBC, among others; managed in excess of $2 million annually in contracts.

Trimmed the number of stand-alone storage from 25 to 4 by centralizing all storage into a robust EMC SAN/NAS storage solution.
