VMS Mobility (2015)

The project was targeted at Verizon Media Server customers, while supporting lower package users. Main feature is direct interaction of mobile device with set top box by SDK’s, bypassing web services when user in home environment.

Implemented troubleshoot wizard, a tool to resolve and debug streaming issues. This eased customer service workload.

Development of dynamic UI that changes as user moves in and out of FiOS environment & customer education banners.

Worked with different teams for gathering feasibility of remote DVR features improvement.

Implemented push notification for receiving outage information and promotion, hence reducing network calls.

Lead the integration of Disney Movies Anywhere to connect Disney purchases with Verizon library and ability to filter Disney Movies only, as a majority of customers are family.

Involved in integration of app with Voice Search SDK, and library for using same keychain between diff. Verizon apps.

Unit test cases using XC TestFramework for automation testing.

Helped in writing test cases for regression for better quality of the product based on requirements.

FiOS Preview (2014)

Key member of Thanksgiving marketing application, that offered free content. It collected customer data for future promotions.

Test Harness (2014)

Internal Verizon project for testing various SDK’s and API’s used by teams. It reduced development cycle by verifying the input parameters and responses. Users open a webpage that interacts with app using Javascript.

Responsible for SDK integration and JS bridge for app to interact with webpage.

FiOS Mobile Application (2012-2013)

Free offering for FiOS customers to use features on their mobile devices. Users can access guide data, and stream channels.

Implement parental controls that blocks channels, based on user selected ratings.

Implement video player with features like CC, SAP, rewind fast forward. Also, muted pip view for preview option.

Worked on UDP protocols for soft remote UI, to be used as physical remote.

Feedback email system, to send mails with prepopulated info and attach logs that help in faster debugging.

Built Emergency Alert System to notify users of alerts issued in the region.

Integration with Fox channel feed, using encryption keys protocol required by Fox News.

Metadata support for advertisements in the video streaming for more revenues.

Development and architectural changes for remote requests of recording, cancelling, deleting shows.
