Title

Development of Three phase to five phase Transformer using a

novel technique

Project brief

This project suggests a novel transformer connection idea to convert the three phase grid supply to a five phase fixed voltage by maintaining the constant frequency supply. Now a days the use of five phase motor dive is ever-increasing in commercial purpose and in future also. The five-phase transmission system can be investigated further as an efficient solution for bulk power transfer.

Micro Hydro Electric Power Plant

Project brief

Today, most of the electricity produced throughout the world is from steam power plants. However, electricity is being produced by some other power generation sources such as hydro power, gas power, bio-gas power, solar cells, etc. one newly developed method of electricity generation is the Regenerative hydro power plant. Importance of small hydroelectric power plants has been increased more and more because of fast increasing electrical energy demand. Small hydro power plants have great importance caused by their low administrative, executive costs and low environmental effects. Regenerative hydro power plant is a new integrated concept of power plants. In this power plant we can generate the power by re-utilizing the water. In this plant there is no loss of water and more power generation. We can operate this system in summer season also.
