EXPERIENCE
2014-Present Software Engineer/Data Analyst Panama City, FL
Software Engineer / Data Analyst
Provided real-time and simulated support for the Tyndall AFB, Gulf Range Drone Control System (GRDCS) unmanned and remote control aircraft types.
Monitor uplink and downlink telemetry communication systems for various aircraft types to ensure that missions are successful and communication is not interrupted
Performance of limited scope data analysis for full-scale and subscale aircraft, through the use of software and hardware to extract and package relevant information for military customers.
Utilized Matlab to expand data quality tracking abilities of an existing program, so that the overall quality of communication could be plotted for any mission occurring in the new location; while incorporating common coding standards, such as the DRY principle and comments to improve readability.
Created a program that allowed a barcode reader to be able to track equipment items using Windows XP and Excel 2010, thereby negating the need to track each item by hand.
Designed a Matlab program that creates a local OLE Automation Server to communicate with Excel and modify the final product to be sent to military customers. This saves the programmer and customer time by reading in multiple files and modifying them, while providing a record of the work done and save location of each document.
Provided support for Aerial Targets Research Development and Testing exercises and system maintenance
