Project Description:
The objective of the system is to achieve maximum fuel conservation along with train safety with the help of an adaptive braking algorithm and risk assessment methods as per the Federal Railroad Administration called Positive Train Control (PTC software). It is comprised of five modules onboard, wayside, back office server, dispatching and communication.
Positive train control (PTC) is a system of functional requirements for monitoring and controlling train movements as an attempt to provide increased safety.
Energy Management system – LEADER (NYAB product), Trip Optimizer (GE product) guides the engineer to ride the train in such a way that minimum fuel is burnt with a help of a algorithm coded in train management computer.
Contribution:
Lead the Test team for the testing of Onboard, Back Office Server segments and End to End Lab Integration testing for all the PTC systems
Develop regression test plan/specification based on analysis of product changes
Develop and design test scenarios and test cases for integration testing of all the segments in PTC Architecture

In this solution for IOCL, Ax- 2009, SAP, CRM and MOSS are tightly integrated through BizTalk Server and managing the Channel partner and their inventory, Creating new channel partner, maintaining their accounts and tax details, processing of sales indents, excise calculation and price upload.

Devising the system wide Test Strategy and Test Plans. Formulating and devising the Testing Process. Formulating the daily and monthly reports and metrics.

Incident management team is responsible majorly to handle all the Major Incidents occurring within all the 24 applications. This team is held responsible to ensure all the KPIs are up to the benchmark and have to showcase all the highlights and lowlights of the project to the management for the further improvement/enhancement of the KPIs which in turn results in the improvement of the deliverables to the client.
Contribution:
Managing Incidents as a active member of Incident Management Team. Analyzing the SQL Reporting Services (CRS) for keeping a track of all the major KPIs. Staffing of the entire team and ensuring maximum shift coverage.
