Contributed to the development of a communications system which included a personal computer with Linux OS running a graphical user interface that coordinated with an embedded processor unit to send and receive secure messages and data across various communications equipment for the Data Communications group/USAF.
Designed and developed the Operator Interface Computer (Linux PC) and Terminal Communications Processor (embedded processing unit with custom OS) using a Sparc Station with Solaris/Unix using C, Motif & XWindows.
Built and improved a graphical user interface application for Operator Interface Computer (Linux PC) including menus and database interface.
Added additional features for interface from the Terminal Communications Processor (embedded processing unit) to LAN Card which communicated to the Operator Interface Unit (Linux PC).
