I am requesting to be considered for employment. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Urban Planning and Design. Now, I am seeking an opportunity for personal development and advancement with your company. I believe that my background in design and urban planning will translate into the fields of aerospace design and engineering. Technology design, quality control analysis, and critical thinking are skills that I have acquired throughout my studies and personal interest of aerospace design. With training and guidance in the aerospace industry I could be a valuable asset to Hawker Pacific Aerospace. Adding my expertise to structural, instrument, and communication design. My goal is to join your company where I can apply my unique skills and desire to learn.
Last year during an up-close view of a Lockheed SR-71, British Airways Supersonic Jet, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise I was inspired to learn about these marvels of engineering. I was in awe of the power plants, but mostly the landing gear. I received an in a CATIA v5 course at El Camino College learning the design of assembly parts using geometrical constrains. I’m also considering taking a welding class to gain more knowledge in airframe construction. Though there is much to learn about the aerospace industry, I’m currently teaching myself the fundamentals of thermodynamics. In the future I plan to pursue an Airframe and Powerplant maintenance certification and an undergraduate education in the aerospace industry. I would help on projects that have been a struggle to complete and an internship would provide a trial period that could lead to something more your company.
