Over 30 years of civil design experience including: drafting of onshore and offshore pipeline facilities mapping, civil / structural design of production facilities, design of pump stations, meter stations and process facilities, sub sea facilities to topside structures. Surveying of diversified residential / commercial land development projects. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Gulf Interstate Engineering November, 2007 to May 2016
Senior Discipline Designer/ Project Coordinator - Duties range from drafting support to Design Lead/Checker & Coordinator on various pipeline mapping projects for Williams, Marathon, Spectra Energy, EPCO Inc. and Enbridge Energy. Deliverables for site specific crossing drawings of Road, Railroad, Waterbodies, Foreign Pipelines, Property Plats and Corpse of Engineers Permits. As Checker, quality control procedures per ISO 9001 performed for all phases of drawing issues, conceptual design to construction issue packages. Coordinated Workflow processes amongst a group of twelve designers under my supervision.
Civil Structural design projects: Designed road layouts, surface grading and storm drainage for grass roots compressor facility and facilities expansion at 3 compressor sites. Provide drafting support on structural design drawings for compressor and metering facilities.
PETRO-TECH Engineering Services April, 2007 to October, 2007
Foreign assignment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Duties include providing drafting design assistance on Gumusut Pipeline Project to Shell Deepwater Engineering office. Generation of plan & profile route alignment sheets, overview area maps, and riser associated design and Shore approach plan & profile drawings. Other duties include interview assistance for hiring local drafting candidates; provide hired personnel training on CAD, Offshore mapping and Shell drafting standards for new regional drafting department at this location.
INTEC Engineering 2004 to 2007
Facilitate drafting group with executing various offshore projects in Structural and Mapping disciplines. Generate pipeline alignment and profile drawings from survey files, preliminary sketches and initial pipeline routing design, overall field layout maps, sub sea drill center equipment and flying leads layouts, SCR plan and profile drawings. 3D drawing generation of PLETs, inline, submersible and TLP structures. Conduct drafting check per company quality control and client standards. Implement automated Alignment sheet software. Train drafting group in automated drafting processes to provide deliverables at an efficient client cost of 10 man-hours or less.
Paragon Engineering Services, Inc. 1996 to 2003
Civil / Structural Designer and Lead Mapper for a Shell onshore gas-gathering project. Processed survey data for 3D site models for drainage design and equipment arrangement. Mapped proposed alignment routes between processing plants, production facilities, gathering stations, and associated third party crossing documents. Provided drafting support for onshore / offshore structural design projects both foreign and domestic including deepwater facilities.
Lead Mapping Designer – Esso Chad, Cameroon Development Project ($3.5 Billion), created engineering drawings for development of the Miandoum, Bolobo and Kome reservoirs consisting of 300 well flow lines, a 1,076 km (663 mile) 24” crude oil export pipeline system, 3 pump stations, a pressure reduction station and a marine terminal (FPSO). Implementation of drafting hardware and software, create / maintain field well location maps, automated alignment sheets and typical detail drawings for pipeline and power transmission lines in accordance with client drafting standards using Inroads / Selectcad software (3 hrs. per alignment drawing). Generate detailed AutoCAD drawings and provide field plan drawings to meet the engineering design requirements of all disciplines.
Design Coordinator - Transco Market Link Expansion project. Managed 18 design draftsmen. Generated Land Acquisition Plats, Crossing Permits, Environmental Impact (Wetland) Permits and Soil Erosion Control drawings for 130-miles of 36-inch and 42-inch gas pipeline. Completed a 2,000 drawing design package with an average labor expenditure of 21 hours per drawing (half the industry standard).
Lead Mapping Designer – Created pipeline plan and profile alignment sheets, material takeoffs and area classification surveys. Extensive civil site design, P&IDs, piping, civil / structural design for compression / pumping and metering facilities for KN Energy, Williams Field Services, Pecten, Pogo, and Brass Exploration.

Lead Mapping Designer - Prepared legal descriptions and maps for FERC Deregulation Proposal of Natural Gas Gathering Pipelines for Transmission Classification. Drafting project coordinator for project location and vicinity maps, “preliminary” and “as-built” pipeline alignment drawings. Prepare drafting project estimates and coordinate facilities re-identification indexing for new filing methods and integration of single source mapping.

Pipeline / Civil Designer – Provide drafting on 800-kilometer Colombian pipeline full field development project for British Petroleum. Pipeline mapping of alignment sheet drawings. Civil land design of central production facilities for gathering systems.
