Job Responsibilities

Perform risk assessment, hazard identification and analyze the control measures installed on site.

To prepare lifting plan and ensure that all lifts are lifted as per the lifting plan.

To do gas testing for toxic gases like CO2, H2S in manholes.

To do detection of underground utilities by cable detectors and site drawings.

Traffic Management while doing road cutting job for pipe laying.

To manage a team of Assistant safety officers and allocate them areas for safety monitoring.

To check all documentation, third party inspection certificates for vehicles working on site.

Undertake accident, injury, near miss and damaged property investigation and reporting.

Assist in implementing and maintaining of the certification of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.

To conduct HSE presentation and on the job training when required.

To report to project HSE manager with feedback on HSE performance.

Maintain and improve company Health, Safety and Environmental management system.

Educate the construction staff about construction safety management.

Conduct training sessions for staff as required.

Provides the necessary advice to the Contractor’s on jobsite Health, Safety and environmental issues.

Monitor compliance to the relevant standards/regulations by conducting regular inspections and audits.
