Served as Principal/Teacher/Head Basketball Coach of Wade Christian Academy. Managed all day-to-day operations of school to include, budgetary oversight, supervision of staff, curriculum development, instructional programs, and student body. Developed purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that provided for effective teaching while creating a classroom environment conducive to learning by employing a variety of appropriate teaching strategies.
The Academy served grade levels: Pre-K to 10th grade.
Served as Assistant Director for National Families In Action, a non-profit organization in collaboration with the Atlanta Housing Authority and the private sector, whose emphasis focused on low income housing in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, D.C. Oversight included job training program, student academics, achievement, parent involvement, and community relations.
