I am currently re-writing and updating an order/billing application for a truss brokerage company client using C#.NET 2012, ASP.NET 4.6, SQL Server 2012, SSIS and SSRS for proposal management; order processing, billing, reports and geospatial information. The application uses SSIS to import data from a FoxPro dbf files and from text based output data of an engineering drafting program. All data is stored and maintained in SQL Server 2012 tables.

The task required my ability to create SQL procedures, triggers and functions to interface with Microsoft Great Plains Accounting (MS Dynamics) software and DFA Enterprise System (AASIS), the external state’s government accounting system. Created specialized SSRS RDL reports from 1000+ tables within GP Dynamics databases as required by client for daily reporting and agency management.

SQL Server Database Administrator/SSRS Reports Developer. Contract.
I provided extended support on the Mainframe Shuttle Decommission Project at Kennedy Space Center. Task required ETL functions and interpreting legacy mainframe report code (ADABAS/Natural) into complex T-SQL scripts, UDF’s and Stored Procedures with the objective of rendering comparable reports using a SQL Server 2008R2 database. I developed specially designed and complex SSRS RDL reports to mimic the mainframe output style and look as required by the NASA client within the projects deadlines.

This position required analysis and SSIS package conversion of multi-sourced data from legacy data systems into SQL Server 2008R2 database tables. I developed SSIS packages to automate the data collection process from DFA Enterprise System (AASIS) and to perform data validation. My task required my ability to create and modify existing SQL procedures, triggers and functions to interface with GP Dynamics Accounting software and existing external government accounting systems.

This position required my experience and skills using Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server Reporting Services. This project involved the development and implementation of enterprise wide reports for the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). My duties included writing SQL stored procedures for special data retrieval, user-defined SQL functions and the development of complex SQL Server Reports RDLC forms and reports to comply with the client’s web-based reporting requirements. I was responsible for maintaining continued data integrity for the project and to create and manage databases and tables for any special projects and as needed for the primary project. Other task included creating front-end interfaces for special projects using C#, VB.NET, Excel and MS-Access.

This position required my experience and skills using Visual Studio 2005, VB.NET 2005, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server Reporting Services and Visual SourceSafe. The project was the development of an enterprise wide application for Goldman-Sachs Mortgage Investment Group. My duties included development of user interface screens and dashboards using VB.NET; writing SQL stored procedures for data storage and retrieval; user-defined SQL functions; and the development of complex Reporting Services RDLC format reports to comply with the client’s reporting requirements.
I worked very closely on a daily bases with Quality Assurance Analyst and the mortgage investment firm’s staff to ensure the application met their strictest requirements. I provided immediate action and recommendations on any testing issues and gave support as necessary.

SQL Server Database Developer. Contract.
I was responsible for writing highly complex SQL Server 2005 Stored Procedures to pull information from a large data warehouse (30+ Terabytes) to be used with SQL Server Reporting Services in RDL format. I assisted in the creation and the moving of data into a Dimensional Data Warehouse. Created reports to meet client’s exact report formatting requirement using the Visual Studio 2005 Report Designer and XML interface.
I created SQL Views that were used to aggregate result tables that fed into Reporting Services reports. These views were designed to simplify extraction of information and improve execution speed and improve security of report rendering through the report server. I performed data validation and code quality checks using T-SQL scripts and VB.NET to insure accuracy of results through Test Case Scenario analysis. I was responsible for writing Technical Design Specification documentation for reports based on the business rules that were provided from the Project Specifications.
