Contracted onsite at Accolade, Inc. in Plymouth Meeting, PA
Performing rollout of new and recycled equipment at Accolade, Inc. Systems include HP thin clients, laptops and Lenovo laptops. Responsibilities include imaging new thin clients and laptops and reimaging recycled laptops, distribute among clients ad classrooms. Utilizing HP Device Manager and SCCM. Service tickets, assist in new softphone rollout support (Genesys/Bria).
Tolt Solutions, Multiple States January 2009 – July 2015
Independent PC / Network Support Consultant and Contractor for Tolt Solutions
1.Ahold – Completed installation of equipment in the pharmacies for Giant Foods in PA, Installation and configuration of Fujitsu document scanners, Intermec thermal printers via WiFi and hand scanners.
2.Wawa – (Radiant 6.12) Completed upgrading the Radiant POS system for Wawa in 6 states; 4 stores weekly overnight. This involved the replacement of any older equipment such as pinpads, bump bars and thin-clients. Software upgrade included the “Ghosting” of updated images onto Customer Access Terminals (CATs), registers and the Radiant main workstation; updated the firmware on the hand-scanners, thin-clients, e-safes and fuel terminal. Goal was to complete the Radiant upgrade and open the store before 5am.
3.Wawa – (STO) Replaced the current Cisco 2800 series router with Cisco 2900 series router and installed Palo Alto firewalls.
4.Wegmans - Replaced Verifone pinpads for Wegmans Market in upstate New York and Southern Maryland areas. Tasks include calibration, testing and inventory.
5.Ahold - Completed a contract as a Team Lead with TOLT Solutions (recently merged with Kyrus Solutions; previously Agilysys) to upgrade POS systems back-office, POS pinpads and replace register systems to touch-screen technology and software and memory upgrades for servers. Supermarkets for Ahold include Giant, Stop n Shop and Martin’s in PA, DE, NJ, NY, MD and VA.
6.mindSHIFT Technologies – On-site at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP in Philadephia, PA
I completed a one-year contract as a Systems/Network Administrator to support mid-sized law firm in downtown Philadelphia for mindSHIFT Technologies. Environment was Windows XP /7/ on 2003 / 2008 R2 server with Citrix XenApp sessions and remote access, smartphone and iPad support and in-house, web-based and off-the-shelf applications. I also performed laser printer repairs and audio/visual maintenance and setup in conference rooms for the firm.
7.Ahold - Completed over the spring and summer for Agilysys (then Kyrus Solutions) at Ahold supermarket chain project consisting of upgrading drive array capacity on rack-mounted servers, migrated OS, apps and data, upgraded POS system on registers and security wipe od data on original drive array in PA, MD and VA.
8.Subcontracted and hired for specialized office automation projects and computer support for businesses in PA, NJ, DE, MD and VA. I worked on Windows 7 installations, upgrades, migrations and diagnostics for several contracts and clients. Hired by individuals for troubleshooting home PC’s.
