Clinical experience Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, MI July 2014 – Present: Medical Physics Resident.

External Beam Therapy: All aspects of external beam therapy including 3D-CRT, IMRT and VMAT independently planning using Eclipse and running patient specific QA.

Stereotactic Radiosurgery (intracranial and spine SRS)/ Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (Lung and liver SBRT). Also performing SRS/SBRT QA.

Brachytherapy: HDR treatment planning using Eclipse (vaginal cylinder, ring and tandem, prostate, and Contura). Also completed pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures for LDR prostate seed implants. Also performing Brachy QA and source exchange. Radiation safety and protection: Participated in radiation survey and Generated a radiation survey spread sheet for the specific vault design following NCRP 147, NCRP 151.

Commissioning: Participated in Varian cones and head frame system commissioning, commissioning of Dynamic Conformal Arc in Eclipse for SRS treatment (Edge and TrueBeam), Varian TrueBeam (October 2016), and in commissioning Mobius3D dose calculation algorithm. Chart checks and trouble shooting: In training for initial plan checks, weekly chart checks and daily clinical trouble shooting.

Leadership as a senior resident for the last 6 months: Supervised 4 medical physics residents as senior resident for 6 months. Also Participated in the teaching of radiation oncology residents.

Research experience Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, MI July 2011 – 2014: Post-doctoral, therapeutic medical physics.

Assessed CBCT as image-guidance in the SBRT for lung tumor.

Evaluated inter- and intra-fraction localization errors during IMRT-based treatment of prostate cancer patients using four different modalities; 3D ultrasound, kV planar images, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and implanted transponders (Calypso).

Investigated the effect of prostate deformation on dose coverage.

Determine the differences between image registration of daily CBCT to fixed body CT (FBCT) bony match, (FBCT) tumor match, average CT tumor match, and slow CT tumor match. Comparison of the setup errors and margins among upper-chest well seated (CWS), upperisland, lower-CWS, and lower-Island lung tumors.

Clinical implementation and investigation of adaptive radiotherapy for prostate cancer.

Analysis of outcomes in radiation oncology for lung cancer patients treated with stereotactic body radiotherapy.
