Graduation from U.S. Army Special Forces Detachment Officer Course earned my Green Beret. Complex problem solving, cultural awareness, leadership, achieving goals by, with, and thru others.
Project planner for a Special Force Battalion’s training exercise in Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana with a conventional Infantry Battalion in preparation for combat deployment.
Increased productivity in my first civilian job. Decreased quality issues at the same time from the plant.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SKYLINE STEEL, Cartersville GA 2015- 2016
Production Supervisor
Provides direct supervision over the plant's entire personnel: production, fabrication, receiving/shipping, inventory management, and safety. Manages all aspects of finished goods production, handling, storage and labeling. Works with General Manager to develop production schedule based on order fulfillment, raw material availability. Drives order fulfillment: manage scheduling, oversee staging, and ensure quality of product. Leader in implementing continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Set-up, changeover reduction, visual workplace management, and preventative maintenance.
Increased production output while significantly reducing quality issues within the first six months.
Implemented a plan to increase of the plant’s workforce from eight personnel to twenty-two.
Led the change from employee’s having one sole responsibility to all employees taking on multiple responsibilities to build the team while ensuring production and deadline were met.
U. S. Army, Multiple Locations 2003 – 2014
Special Forces Officer (OCT 2009 – OCT 2014)
Served as Green Beret, with three combat deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for the well-being, planning, execution, and support of a twelve-man detachment. Served as a planner responsible for the over all training of over four hundred Soldiers. Worked as the futures planner for a Special Operations Task Force in Afghanistan, working to ensure that multiple multinational units worked on their objectives while accomplishing the overall mission. Lead planner of a major exercise that validated two different organizations as ready for combat.
Planned exercises for two units consisting of over six hundred personnel training in three different states at the same time.
Worked directly with various military forces from various countries to plan and execute combat operations.

Infantry Officer (APR 2004 – SEP09)
Worked as the second in command of a unit consisting of over one hundred Soldiers for one year while deployed to Afghanistan. Served as the planner for all logistics involved in combat operations and the establishment of two remote different firebases. Accountable for the unit’s equipment being accounted for and being kept in working order.
Planned for the security, logistics, and establishment two remote firebases in Afghanistan.
Leader of multiple combat operations including air assaults, ground convoys, and dismounted patrols.
