Genesis Physician Services (2011) Provided care for acutely ill patients in 60 bed rehab facility in Windsor, CT. Focused on care of post-op and post- critical incident patients transferred from higher levels of care, including step-down units at local area hospitals and trauma centers. Assessed new

admissions in the absence of a physician. Ordered and reviewed lab work and

diagnostic tests. Prescribed and adjusted medications. Provided ongoing

teaching and coaching of nursing and ancillary staff.

Geriatric APRN – (Wolcott, CT office) Multiple LTC facilities (3/2011-11/2011)

Gericare, LLC (2011) Provided acute and follow up care for residents in long term care facilities in Hartford and Waterbury. One LTC facility was dedicated to chronic mental illness. Provided urgent care to residents with acute psychiatric emergencies in the absence of the psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Geriatric APRN – (Omaha, NE office) Home Assessments (11/2010-12/2010)

Aureus Medical Group, LLC (2010) Two month contract position performing

physical exams, obtaining medical histories, and reviewing medications.

Made referrals and recommendations for follow up care.

Geriatric Psych APRN – (Farmington, CT) Multiple LTC facilities (3/2010-6/2010)

Connecticut Mental Health Specialists. Short term contract position. Under the supervision of a psych APRN/psychiatrist, assessed and provided treatment recommendations for geriatric residents in assisted living and LTC facilities.
