Was being trained on Cincinnati Milacron. Move pipe into machine and run the designated program, monitor pipe and indicate using shims if necessary and change inserts when needed. Maintain machine by keeping work area clean, removing shavings, and adding water and/or coolant into machine when running low. Watch the pipe while program is running for any broken inserts, remove any shavings that collect between the pipe and insert, and put a rubber roll into machine to prevent chatter. Once program is complete, orient spindle, remove rubber, and do visual check for accuracy; have inspector check the thread, seal, pin gauge and pilot, and change offsets according to the readings when needed.
