PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Undergraduate Research Assistant (January 2016 – June 2016) Martin García-Castro’s lab (UC Riverside) I was involved in a research project where I was looking the presence of a wide variety of Eph receptors in the surface of Neural Crest stem cells.

I was also helping in the lab with different tasks like: working with chick embryos; immunostaining chick embryos and cells using primary antibodies against PAX7 and SOX10; imaging slides in the microscope using SPOT; analyzing and editing images with ImageJ and Photoshop; feeding different types of cells (ESCs, NCCs and Fibroblasts); making inductions of ESCs to become NC cells; synthetising acrylamide scaffolds for tissue engineering. Volunteer on “National Biotechnology week in Madrid” (2014) Organized by AsBioMad Collaborated in setting up exhibitions and assisting guests. Supervised activities with children such as designing a 3D model of an Eukaryotic cell.
