Simulated and designed elevation PCB beam-formers for 900 and 1800 MHz applications. This includes design of different types of power dividers (Wilkinson, Directional coupler and, T-split) matching circuits. hybrids and Butler matrices. The designs were optimized for achieving low return loss and SLL.

Designed and optimized innovative rotary phase shifters for variable tilt antenna applications at 900 and 1800 MHz bands. Through daily interaction with mechanical engineers the design resulted in a very compact, robust low loss and cost effective elevation feed network in both GSM and AWS bands.

Designed and implemented a variety of efficient cable to PCB launches with tangible effect in finished products cost reductionsImplemented a system model for the whole base station antenna with Matlab. The model included antenna elements (with mutual coupling) as well as azimuth and elevation feed networks. This model extensively has been used in optimizing side-lobe level and gain and performing sensitivity and fault detection analysis.
