1.A large IT project for Retail Banking, Online Banking replacing legacy Applications. Upgrading the current Legacy Applications for the Retail customers to help Customer Loyalty and rewarding and hence improve user experience and increase the customer base. Also systems that were getting redundant and had to be migrated to live up to the erstwhile technologies. The project would change the front-end and hence the Retail customer user experience. The application was migrated to make it Virtualized and highly available application for Retail customers making it almost real-time. Online Banking, Treasury and also Payment Services like Wire-transfer, Market Risk and Credit Risk and governance around that.
2.Disaster Recovery testing and Implementation to comply with FSA(Financial Services Authority) regulations and making the systems resilient and falling in line with the larger BCP(Business Continuity Planning) strategy. Disaster Recovery planning of IT Systems using Business Impact assessment and working on 2 basic principle of RTO(Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective). So basically building an overall solution to improve the IT Services and also improve onboarding of Applications and new services by bundling the IT Continuity as part of the Service offering and being on top of this risk assessment right from the start.
GIAMA (Global Identity Access Management Automation) projects, enterprise-wide.
This was an enterprise-wide Program internal to IBM to innovate the Identity Access Management for all of the IBM clients across North Americas. It was to implement the Primary Controls, Secondary Controls and Role based Access using the IBM developed tool. This tool would ease the compliance and governance around all types of user access ranging from System users, Application users and also Role-based users. The tool would also be useful to have single-sign-ons(SSO).
Network Security Projects for CIO Investment projects. This project was again an enterprise-wide project for all the clients in the LATAM (SSA - Spanish Speaking Americas) region. Enterprise wide Program worth $8MN. The program included around 12000 network devices including Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches.
ECM (Enterprise Computing Model) Migration projects. These deliverables could be quick fix at code level or data-fixes. This was again an enterprise wide, multi-customer, cross LOBs, with around 800+ servers to be migrated as part of the CIO office initiative for IBM customers in NA and LATAM region.
