I was the triage nurse, I received calls to the office from Patients, Hospitals, other Physicians offices, I would record patients complaints, and gave this information, to the nurse of the patients Physician seen in our group. I then would order testing, lab, or what was needed to be able to take care of the patient. I did the Coumadin therapy on multiple vascular patients. I took all kinds of calls to the office, Consults from all the major Hospitals, Home Health calls regarding a patients wound, or needing orders for treatment of a wound. I ordered supplies needed for the office. I reviewed all lab results and x rays that were faxed to the office. I worked very hard to make sure my patient got what they needed to make them better, and happy to be a patient of University Surgical Associates.
