Professional Experience:
July 2012 to present: Stephen F Austin State University Student Health Clinic
Functions autonomously with collaborating Physician support, and with staff during clinic hours full time. Performs comprehensive health assessments. Determines health problems to include psychosocial barriers to care and developed a comprehensive plan of care. Worked interdependently with Physician and was responsible for providing quality care, education and collaboration with other health team members. Followed practice guidelines as outlined in protocols including consulting with physician to meet national Standards.
August 1st 2010 to June 7th 2012: University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Student Health Clinic.
June 2009 to July 2010: Take Care Health (Walgreen’s convenience clinic) Provided walk in and urgent care to uninsured and insured patients for common conditions and illnesses when the persons could not see their Primary Care Providers same day or if the person was not affiliated with any provider. Provided triage to those who were beyond Nurse Practitioner’s scope of practice to ER, or other Providers for further care.
February 4th, 2008 to June 2009: Aurora Health Care Wautoma Family clinic (Wautoma Wisconsin )
Full time Family Practice: male and female, of all ages, including acute care, physicals, and chronic care across the health spectrum. Wellness assessment, analysis, treatment and education and for lifestyle changes that will help the patient to achieve maximum wellness. Press-Ganey scores of 97% patient satisfaction.
October 2007 to February 2008: Moved to Wisconsin bought house and remodeled.
January 2007 to October 5th 2007: Woodville Family Clinic (Woodville, Texas). Full time: Family Practice, male and female care for all ages beginning at 6 weeks of age. Care included minor procedures, and monthly visits for local nursing home patients.
1999 to August 2006: Angelina College Associate Degree Nursing Program (Lufkin, Texas). Full time: second year Team Leader; Lecturer in Advanced Medical Surgical, Obstetrics/Pediatrics; clinical teaching for class size 80-100 students. Received outstanding student evaluations, for both lecture and clinical experiences. Considered “tough but fair” by students and co-workers. Developed and taught the LVN to RN transition class to prepare the experienced LVN for the ADN program.
1996-1999: Norwest/Wells Fargo Bank (Minneapolis, MN.) Disability Case Manager and Supervision for eight nurses in the corporate office. Disability determinations, need for treatment, and application of disability benefits for employees of Norwest/Wells Fargo banks, nationwide.
1995-1996: Lee College Associate Degree Nursing Program (Baytown, Texas), Full time lecturer and clinical instructor. Taught Management, Critical Care and Obstetric/Pediatrics. Outstanding evaluations by both staff and students.
1994-1995: Ethics/New York Life (San Antonio, Texas). Manager of Utilization department. Promote from supervisor after 3 months employment. Left to move to Houston with husband.
1993-1994: Lee College Associate Degree Nursing Program (Baytown, Texas) Full time lecturer and clinical instructor. Taught Management, Critical Care and Obstetric/Pediatrics received superior rating by students for both lecture and clinical ability. Moved to San Antonio Texas with husband.
August1992-May1993: South Texas School of law Student- Left after one year due to no interest in obtaining a law degree.

Intern: 250 additional hrs in Family, Adult, and Geriatrics Care. Procedure classes in x-ray, suturing, splinting, family planning, wound care.
