Profile
I started working part-time in high school at DELiA*s in Annapolis, Maryland, eventually working full time. My job as a Sales Associate consisted of greeting customers upon entering the store and educating them to our current fashion trends in the 15-21 year old market. When outfitting and coordinating merchandise, I would build the sales transaction into a ‘wardrobe concept’ rather than just 1-2 articles. I enjoy the creative aspect of selling and assisting customers while making them feel good about their decisions. I also replenished stock, assisted with inventory and was able to ring up sales transactions at the register. I left DELiA*s employment in the spring of 2015 as Delia’s filed Chapter 11. Dates worked: Fall 2012 –Spring 2015.
I worked a second job while in high school at a premium frozen yogurt shop called sweet Frog. I stayed at this job for almost two years. My jobs there included replenishing the yogurt machines and topping bins as needed. I was also required to maintain miscellaneous stock, cashier and tally the cash drawer at the end of the day. I was a key holder and was responsible for opening and closing the shop on my daily shifts. Dates worked: Spring of 2013 – Summer 2015.
In both of these jobs, great customer service was required. I believe that this practice is key to the success of any business and I believe I have strong skills to offer in this area and have told I go above and beyond to assist customers.
