I have around 3 years of work experience in IT, particularly in Software Quality Assurance and Manual Testing. I have an advanced knowledge in Manual Testing, Functional Testing and Technical Testing involving, but not limited to, Web-based applications, primarily on Payment Processing / Credit Card processing platform. I’m proficient in Test scripts development & execution and Test Planning. Have got a good exposure to Waterfall and Agile Testing methodologies, and the various types of testing employed throughout the SDLC (starting from Test plan, writing test cases, test cases review, execute test cases, finding defects and bug management)
I have worked on projects for clients in the financial industry on e-commerce payment processing. Experience working on automated tools like QTP and Selenium.

The application has two kinds of reporting called Current batches and Settled batches. Current batches will have about 2 weeks of open transactions and settled batches will have up to 12 months of settled transactional data. In this project, we are enhancing all the text based reports to Graphical based reports for easy reading and better understanding for a quick decision by the customers.
Responsibilities

EMV

Test Analyst
EMV is a technical standard for smart payment cards and for payment terminals that can accept them. EMV (Europay, MasterCard and Visa) cards are smart cards (also called chip cards or IC cards) which store their data on integrated circuits rather than magnetic strips.

It is a web based application where Merchants process their payments using credit card, debit card, electronic check and electronic gift card. The Application has enhanced security features like key data elements encryption, tokenization and provides a detailed reporting up to 12 months. The Application takes care of payment processing for market segments like Internet, Retail, MOTO and Service. It also takes care of recurring billing which includes various billing cycles like Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually.
Responsibilities
• Performed manual execution of functional and user Interface test plans to ensure quality and requirements are met.
• Provided support to development team by communicating and re-creating issues found during testing to improve troubleshooting outcomes.
