Major Projects

VERIZON FIOS Splice Fiber optic (outside plant) cable in 3M splice cases. Bidirectional tests for light strength from Hub to frame and vice versa, also from hub to customer premise using OTDR and Fluke tester. Label hub according to print and update any changes made.

SAUDI ARABIAN EMBASSY Install Terminate and Test Secured data and telecom wiring. Completed the build out of Main telecom closet as well as four separate closets on each floor for immediate access to facilities on said floor. Pull terminate and test CAT6A/CAT5 and Fiber optic cable thru riser to connect each floor to main closet. Build ladder racks and pull wiring under raised floor per print specification. Terminate test and label RJ-45/RJ-11 at each work station. Note any changes to print.

MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL Splice 1800 copper cable at pedestal using 3M modules and Splicing head. Terminate riser cable in each telecom closet according to counts on print using punch down tool. Install terminate and test CAT5 cable onto dual jacks in each suite, work station and front desk area using Leviton connectors.

WMATA DULLES CORRIDOR DULLES METRORAIL Assist Journeymen in cutting and bending conduit for underground run. Pull CAT5 and CAT3 wiring thru conduit from utility closet. Pull and terminate wiring for Metro intercom system. Test and monitor manhole using sniffer and proper continuous gas monitor. Purge manhole when necessary per OSHA law. Record gas levels once an hour as well the times each person enters and exits manhole.

FORT MYER Pull CAT5/CAT3 wiring thru ceiling terminate wiring to Siemens motor controls. Work with Siemens technician to test and troubleshoot Siemens HVAC systems. Install, test occupancy sensors and thermostats at each work station and office. Label each faceplate according to print.

SYMANTEC Pull wiring for motor controls from roof to each floor. Terminate wiring at each VAV. Work with HVAC technician to ensure the system is functioning correctly. Note changes on print and make engineer aware of any issues.

COX CABLE NEWS STATION DC Pull wiring thru ceiling to each work station. Terminate wiring for audio and video systems. Label and Test wiring in A/V room. Terminate CAT5 and CAT6 for telecommunications network at each work station
