Developing work plans, schedules coupled with budgeting for improvement of RAMS of passengers’ coaches & freight wagons, maintenance depots / yards & workshops on Pakistan Railway network.
Managing and controlling stakeholders’ expectations besides procurements.
Responsible for “Up-gradation & Refurbishment of Rolling Stock Project” to meet with the operational requirements.
Responsible for supply chain (FOB, FOR), budget controls, monitoring & compliance of OEM maintenance regulations, data analysis, conducting inspections of rolling stock and maintenance depots.
2.Project Manager / Manager Systems Engineering Apr-2012 to Sep-2013
(at Electromotive Diesel Inc. LaGrange USA)
Dealt the designing, manufacturing and testing of 10 GT46ACS D.E Locomotives (4300 h.p) at EMD USA and commissioning at SRO workshops KSA.
Responsible for the systems engineering physical decomposition and integration phases of project and periodical deliverables to SRO-KSA and M/s Irolli Trading Corp., KSA.
3.Divisional Mechanical Engineer-1 Dec-2010 to Apr-2012
(Lahore Division, Pakistan Railway)
Responsible for the management of periodical overhaul / maintenance & RAMS of 104 Nos. D.E locomotives (3000, 2000, 1200, 950 h.p. locomotives’ whose OEM is M/s EMD-USA, M/s GE- USA and M/s Hitachi Japan).
Managing one locomotive base depot at Lahore and two advance locomotive base depots at Faisalabad and Wazirabad cities over Lahore Division, Pakistan Railway.
Responsible for train operation (passenger & freights; mainly Ex. Lahore to Karachi & back, Ex. Lahore to Multan via Faisalabad & back, Ex. Lahore to Amritsar (India) & back.
4.Divisional Mechanical Engineer Oct-2008 to Nov-2010
(Sukkur Division, Pakistan Railway)
Managing the Maintenance of 66 Nos. (1500 & 2000 h.p) D.E locomotives besides 600 Nos. rolling stock (passenger coaches & freight wagons) over Sukkur Division, Pakistan Railway.
Responsible for smooth train operation over mainline round the clock by ensuring the availability of reliable rolling stock & locomotives besides crews.
5.Works Manager-Carriage & Wagons Shops Feb-2007 to Sep-2007
(Moghalpura Division, Pakistan Railway)
Responsible for the management to maintain & periodical overhaul of railway rolling stock; passenger coaches & freight wagons, with the monthly targets of 100 and 700 respectively.
Evaluation of production management reports, performance monitoring of shops, job costing, budget control etc.
Administration and intangible resource management of carriage & wagon shops.
6.Senior Mechanical Engineer July-2005 to Feb-2007

Responsible for the smooth supply and inventory assessment of imported maintenance spares of diesel electric locomotives and rolling stock as well as technical evaluation of bids.
