Purchased grain from farmers, typed contracts, called farmers with grain markets, applied scaled tickets to contracts and if necessary wrote checks to farmers for the grain. Discussed grain ticket issues with farmers and also vendors that Dyersburg Elevator sold to, weighing errors, grading errors, etc. Did payroll, helped with month end, contract to arrive reports, and made a daily bid sheet. Took care of customers and any question they had about contracts, checks, tickets etc. Prior to receiving a promotion in August 2008 I was also responsible for all the bookkeeping duties for the company. This included doing month end, accounts receivable and accounts payable,, settling all tickets and producing all grain checks.
