Hospius Group Egypt, Alexandria Senior Biomedical Engineer 2012 - NOW Pharos Project:

• Working for Hospius Group Company (international company) which offers full service and turnkey solutions to realize healthcare projects (planning, feasibility studies, project finance, design, development and realization, facility management, hospital management and accreditation).

Serves a turn-key project for 3 new hospitals related to Alexandria Faculty of medicine according to JCI standards. With ORET (Dutch development-related export transaction program) and SIMED international to strengthen hospital service in Alexandria via construction, completion and equipping of the three hospitals.

• With the following responsibilities and main tasks as medical equipment planning engineer: 1- Provides medical equipment technical knowledge in the design and planning of various sized healthcare facilities using Facility Guidelines Institute FGI. 2- Responsible for Medical Equipment Planning including room equipment lists, room data sheets, medical equipment loaded layouts, detailed room equipment layouts, specifications, pre-installation requirements in compliance with standards international, codes HTM – HBN and JCI . 3- Responsible for electromechanical, structural and architectural coordination with the medical equipment planning

4- Responsible for coordination with the health planners / architects for identifying correct room sizes and relationships with respect to medical equipment, safety, codes, staff and patient flows. 5- Prepares and modifies medical equipment planning documents, Equipment Schedules, Specifications, Bill of Quantities, etc.

6- Understands overall project medical equipment related budgets and milestone schedules in coordination with project managers, architect and project engineers. 7- Anticipates and develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.

8- have a good experience in endoscopy (Olympus-Storz), 9- Working in radiology equipment due to working with Philips as a partner in turn key project as a responsible to Prepare for (and follow up) the installation of (CT, X-RAY Bucky, Fluoroscopy (digital x- ray), MRI, cathlab /PACs for the radiology department.) and follow up the preventive and corrective maintenance. Which provide me with a good experience in radiology equipment.

• With the following responsibilities and main tasks as senior biomedical site engineer: 1-Revising and matching the technical specs for delivered medical equipment for the three hospitals. 2- Supervision for all civil, mechanical and electrical modification works in three hospitals related to medical equipment

3- Inspection, testing, installing, commissioning and delivery of medical equipment to the end user. 4- Planning and implementation of training schemes for users 5- Planning and implementation of periodical maintenance schemes for hospital departments related to JCI standard.

6-Determine the availability of required spare parts in stock for every year to ensure non-stop operation of the equipment in the three hospitals.

7-Analyze and solve problems related to application of advanced technology to the complex problems of medical care

1- Follow up all the administrative work with other partners (Manufacturers, Agents, contractors and end Users)

2- Assist to put the plan and the roles of the facility management system according to JCI standards.

Manage the service contracts with the subcontractors and monitor the preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, testing and calibration in oncology department including:
