Project Title : Optimization of Machining Parameter For Surface Roughness On Wire Electric Discharge Machine Of EN36 alloy steel (research paper). Project Description

This paper investigate about the effect of various WEDM parameters on the surface roughness of EN36 alloy steel and to find out the set of parameters to optimize the surface roughness of EN36. This study based on WEDM parameters like pulse on time, pulse off time, peak current and voltage on surface roughness. In the present work we take thin brass wire (0.25mm) as cutting tool. With the help of Taguchi method the experimental orthogonal array was designed and three levels corresponding to each of the variables was taken.

Project Title : Parameter Optimization Of EDM On EN36 Alloy Steel For MRR And EWR Using Taguchi Method(research paper).

Project Description

This paper investigate about the effect of EDM parameters using pulse on time, pulse off time, current and voltage on material removal rate (MRR) and also effect on electrode . In the present Work we take copper as electrode. Using Taguchi method, an L9 orthogonal array is used in the experiment and three levels corresponding to each of the variables are taken.
