Manage the production of confinement building for farm animals. While in the position scheduling, safety, budget control and estimating for the entire project s is required. The projects range from $500,000 to $2 million dollars.

Project Manager – September 2014 – February 2016

Oversee all construction activities for a Non-Profit rehabilitation and housing company in the City of Baltimore. Directly supervise a staff of 7 to 10. Daily activities include; review of production schedules, managing job budgets, conducting project meetings, hiring and training of office staff, subcontractor negotiations, general warranty requirements and ultimately ensuring every home is built per plan, budget and per stringent historical requirements as set by the National Park Service.

Manage production, scheduling and provide contractor oversight for homes under construction in 4 separate master planned communities. Managed workload of 35-45 homes under construction on average. Full charge for training and mentoring new superintendents within the company. Averaged 15 homes closed per month.

Directed the daily activities of 4 - 5 superintendents as well as managed the construction of 5-7 houses concurrently. Homes averaged a 35 day build time as part of the ongoing Disaster Recovery program. Projects were located on scattered sites over a 25 mile radius. Moved into the custom home division to building houses from Galveston to New Caney.

Full charge management for a scattered lot custom home builder. Built custom homes from a range of 1500 square feet to 4500 square feet. Oversaw all facets of the building business; site selection, site work, construction, final walk thru to warranty.

Served as liaison between Sauer Incorporated and local government officials determining site specification such as; placements of buildings, fencing and infrastructure requirements. Along with this responsibility, I was in charge of production and quality control.

While with Complete Development Construction Services, I was responsible for overseeing day to day activities. Additional duties consisted of customer satisfaction, preparing project bids, quality control and managing current job budgets and timelines. Performed General Contracting jobs on several Naval bases in both Mayport and Key West, Florida.

Graduated from Superintendent to Area Manager for a multi-million dollar production home builder. Responsible for overseeing 15 builders in eight communities. Employed in three different areas of the building industry. Hands on experience includes; 5 years as a Mason, 3 years in a general carpentry role and the remaining time was spent apprenticing as a general labor.
