Gate 1: Wet Corn Milling Design Process – Concentration of Gluten and Starch Separation and Anhydrous Dextrose Production.
Design Basis: 100,000 Bushels per day of corn feed to be processed to yield 100,000 metric tons per year of sorbitol (for production of Polyols), 10% moisture content of gluten meal (60% protein on dry basis), and anhydrous dextrose production of 0.8% moisture content and grain size of <0.5mm.
