Dear Hiring Manager,

While I was working at Roche, my primary responsibility was requirements gathering and creating system specifications. I met with stakeholders to define scope and understand project priorities. I then used analysis tools such as use cases, flow charts, and UI prototyping. I created requirements documents for desktop, mobile, and web software. I was also in charge of leading review meetings with the project teams, and I attended project meetings with cross functional teams throughout the entire development effort. During the development phase of the projects, I sat as a requirements liaison to the developers and testers to help review issues and answer any design questions. During the downtime in between requirements work, I performed adhoc testing on the products and software to verify functionality as well as check for any bugs in the software.

After Roche, I started making my own educational Android applications to be used in school classrooms. Android is a variant of JAVA, and I believe I am pretty well versed in JAVA now. I also created a website for the teachers to receive data from their students applications. Creating the website allowed me to expand my skill set to include HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Jquery. The data from the students is stored in an SQL database as well.
