I successfully supervised 21 associates in the Rotogravure press department including Ink Department and Setup Department. I was responsible for monitoring production, quality, waste, and safety performance using the following methods:

Confirmed production schedule was being adhered to by all presses.

Confirmed and approved job startup requirements including product specifications, color specifications, proper Standard Operating Conditions, and required amount of material needed to be produced.

Utilized troubleshooting skills to prevent excessive waste and quality defects on rotogravure presses.

Conducted associate performance reviews based upon objective and subjective criteria for shift Press Department associates.

Dispositioned defective material with subjective defects.

Performed daily inventory cycle counts for Press Department.

Reviewed and corrected shift production reports for each work station.

I was responsible for operating 55" web rotogravure presses on different substrates such as polyester, polypropylene, nylon, and paper.

Operated 8-color Cerutti press, 9-color Schiavi press, and 11-color Cerutti press with in-line dry bond adhesive lamination capability.

Operate BST Premius defect detection system, AVT 100% defect detection system, Bobst Registron S4100 register system, Fife electromechanical web guides, Coast Control pneumatic web guides, Norcross viscometer system, and Sterlco water heater systems.

Manage a crew of 2-3 assistants to maintain quality product.

Utilize X-rite color measurement system to maintain color consistency.

Monitor print defects and color consistency and use judgement to determine how to properly address defects.
