Senior Test engineer at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) at Fort Huachuca, AZ with expertise’s in Unified Capabilities (UC) requirements and 2008/2013 UCR.

Principal responsibilities include but not limited to supporting the Joint Interoperability Certification program, providing the government test program with support in test event planning, coordination, and execution of Unified Capabilities (UC) testing.

Testing of Unified Capabilities (UC) multimedia communications devices i.e. :( voice, video and data over Internet Protocol (IP) networks).

Conduct interoperability assessment and/or certification testing on Unified Capabilities for voice and video products from different vendors such as: Avaya SS, ESC and SCs, Redcom SC,s, Cisco ESC, SC and SBC, Sonus SBCs, Vidyo, Acme Packet SBCs, Oracle, Polycom, Acano, Pexip, Microsoft, NEC, XMPP systems: ISODE, Conversant, Cisco, Avaya and Microsoft to name a few.

Develop comprehensive test plans in accordance with customer requirements and Unified Capabilities Requirements document.

I have a vast working knowledge of network test equipment and analysis software, such as packet captures and analysis tools and IP traffic generation tools. Perform cable patching and tracing out of wiring configurations in lab environment. Experience working with most of today’s complex Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment. Working knowledge of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) or Assured services (AS)-SIP.

Able to generate Test Case scenario, Test Procedures and Test Reports, Completing all assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet program schedule milestones.

Conduct status meetings with vendors and government personal to share information for a product that is undergoing the APL certification process.

Quality Assurance testing that helps establish how vendors process, monitor, develop, collaborate within a certain range of government policy parameters. Provide complete customer support with installation, integration and system functionality issues as needed.

Performing Quality Assurance Risk involves communication and enterprise involvement; monitoring and controls for a system, privacy and security settings, and system build and test management.

Conduct informal and formal factory verification activities including requirements checkout, test rehearsals and formal testing. Create an environment for efficiently executing functional/module level verification.

I have a vast working knowledge of H.323, SIP, and AS-SIP protocols, Virtual Machines and most Audio and Video Endpoints.

Performed Risk Mitigation to re-evaluate how policies, procedures and technologies are deployed to reduce/eliminate vulnerabilities and system exposures.

Conducting interoperability testing between UC systems and existing DSN systems, participate in UC developmental testing, protocol development and other test documentation, writing test plans, troubleshooting of equipment and system failures, and performing corrective action when needed.

Interoperability testing of Unified Capabilities (UC) products including time division multiplex (TDM) switches, Internet Protocol (IP) switches, routers, and transmission equipment.

Conduct interoperability certification testing with multiple vendors for telephony and VTC systems and most Video End Points located behind SBCs or Firewalls. Video testing conducted with multiple vendors for MCUs, VCS, and UCCS Video End Points, to include H.263, H.264; audio codecs, G711 and G722 resolutions and bit rates.

Collect test data such as SIP logs, perform data reduction and analyze data for approval/disapproval of certification to be on Approved Products List (APL). Also to ensure correct SIP log messaging is exchanged properly.

Understanding of classical TDM phone switching systems, telephony and video CODECs, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and IP protocols such as UDP/TCP, ICMP, SNMP, OSPF, VRRP).
