AISSE and AISSCE (Central Board of Secondary Education) – THE INDIAN SCHOOL, BAHRAIN MAY 2008 / MAY 2010
Top ranked amongst classmates with 81.6% (Grade-12) and 86.6% (Grade-10).
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Fabrication of a Solar cell SEPTEMBER 2015 – NOVEMBER 2015
Experienced with working in a clean room. Various physical as well as chemical processes including Photolithography, Etching etc. were performed on a silicon substrate. Result of fabricating the cell, produced an overall efficiency of 17.14%.
VLSI design – Laboratory Experience SEPTEMBER 2015 – DECEMBER 2015
Introduction to Cadence Virtuoso Schematic and Simulation. Layout of Inverter, NAND, NOR gates. DC and Transient response using ADE Tool for NAND and NOR gates. Spice Simulation – finding the sink capacitance of inverter. Knowledge of NODAL analysis. Using P-Spice on windows. Schematic of 6T-SRAM and simulating read operation using Spectre simulation.
Line Mapper Bot MARCH 2015 – APRIL 2015
Designed a robot using the eZ430-RF2500, a USB based MSP430 which traversed a contiguous curved line with intersections. The software was designed on the IAR Embedded Workbench developed by Texas Instruments. Distance between the cross points were measured & transmitted to the PC.
Analysis of EM fields in IC interconnects MARCH 2015 – MAY 2015
Designed interconnect present in Integrated Circuits and analyzed the distributions of Electric and Magnetic fields. Structure was built using CST (Computer Simulation Technology) Software and difference in distributions of both E and H fields were visualized.
Collision Avoidance Using VANET(Vehicular Ad-Hoc) Protocol for Dedicated Short Range Communication AUGUST 2014 – DECEMBER 2014
An effective method for collision detection and avoidance using VANETs was developed that reduces the need for roadside units by allowing the vehicles to communicate critical information directly with one another. An algorithm was presented using MATLAB based on Priority Queue using Linked List for quick and efficient handling of safety messages.
Automated Reversal of Vehicles FEBRUARY 2013 – MAY 2013
Designed and programed an interface which would detect obstacles and reduce accidents while reversing vehicles. Implemented a proximity sensor based reversing mechanism for a passenger vehicle that involved the use of a PIC (Peripheral Interface Controller) microcontroller and basic MATLAB algorithms. Created a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) using markers and etch acid (FeCl3 solution).
