Responsibilities
Do daily reports and email to the appropriate people. Cover in the micro lab and also as a QC Tech if there
is a shortage. Help the manager with any purchasing that she needs help with. Write and update SOP's
when necessary. Can update specification sheets if changes need to be made. Work closely with production,
packaging, and with the plant manager. Shipping out samples for testing and also for customer review. Do
monthly Food Safety audits and weekly GMP Audits. Have been involved with some customer audits and
conference calls. Update any hold reports or FM reports and document what was done to prevent the issue
from reoccurring if possible.
Sanitation: I also have been working with Sanitation. Updating SOP’s, making sure that they are complying with safety and GMP rules. Working with any group whether sanitation QA or production means getting in there learning what it is that they do and not being afraid to jump in and help if they need it.
Lab Supervisor

Responsibilities
Supervise and work with lab personnel. Effectively communicate changes that are made. Work with other
Department personnel and supervisors to produce quality product in a safe and timely manner. Send out reports, any
updates and overseeing the training of new employees and writing annual and promotion reviews. Also in charge of inventory and purchasing of lab materials and keeping an eye on how much money has been spent and how much is in the budget.

The responsibilities of the Process Team Leader are to help all members of the process end do their jobs to

freezing.

Packaging Team Leader
Works with packaging, warehouse QA, and Process personnel as well as the shift manager.
• The Packaging Team Leader is primarily responsible for putting in-grade product into the case as well as
dumping back any totes that are blendable.

Runs the packaging machines, watches for workmanship errors, and keeps area clean.
Quality Assurance Lab Grader
Grades the product to insure that quality and customer specifications are met.
Process System Auditor/Microbiologist
The duties of a process auditor are to time equipment and verify information with computer. Work with micro
plates, autoclave, and mixing chemicals. Also work with the safety specialist in taking care of eyewashes and
the planner scheduler with inventory.
