The cost estimations included the design reviews at scope-to-budget/60%/100% for the submissions of documents and architecture/structure/civil/MEP/control drawings, constructability reviews, review of shop drawings and materials submittals, design cost presentation with review for each submission, evaluation and analysis of designer cost, attendance of meetings with program manager, project managers, designers, client, consultants and contractors, analysis and recommendations of cost modifications to meet funding and scope of work requirements. Pretta utilized RS Means, Craftsman, and other commercial construction software systems to determine project cost estimation. Commercial Construction project involved the major construction of a 42,130 sqft commercial facility designed for K- 12 public education utilizing the DBB delivery method. The project cost is valued at $8.4 million and included the cost estimation design reviews at 100% for the construction submissions of documents, architecture/earthwork/structure/heavy civil/civil/MEP/conveying/fire protection, constructability reviews, review of shop drawings and materials submittals with architects, and design cost presentation to project managers.
