In the V2500, F117, PW2000 main plant performed inspections on the HPC, LPC and first vane package, as well as the diffuser section. By using ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) tools met scheduled TAT
(turnaround times) in order make build time for final assembly.

Performs scheduled as well as unscheduled engine inspections IAW applicable technical data. Repairs, replaces and rebuilds jet engines and associated items utilizing hand tools, power tools, machines and test equipment such as the EAU (engine analyzer unit. Reads and interprets manufacturer’s publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Certifies completion of all work accomplished; analyzes malfunctions using schematic and wiring diagrams, blueprints, manufacturers’ specifications, computer diagnostic data, inspection findings and trending data and aircrew debriefs.
