Being part of the UNIX/Wintel Backup and Restore Datacentre team and administering Symantec Netbackup master, media and client servers (v6.5 – 7.5). Working with platforms such as Windows and UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX and Linux). Troubleshooting Netbackup failures from networking, hardware, software errors and single/multiple OS clients from Oracle RMAN, SQL agents and other Netbackup agent errors.

Providing advice and detailed technical feedback for solution architects and designers on their backup designs, also assisting in the restoration of a disaster recovery from production to the test based solutions.
