Ensured cross-training of employees in heat treat and wheel dressing areas to add flexibility of job responsibilities to meet customer requirements.

Interacted with support departments to meet preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment in proper working order.

Was part of a team that developed and produced a new style needle for the company.

Assisted in moving and starting new production facility in Tijuana Mexico.

Production Manager Finished Goods 2008 – 2012

Finished Goods Manager responsible for the two shift operation of suture attaching, wrapping and packaging. Responsible for up to 85 to 100 employees.

Implemented attachers setting up own machines relieving the technician of this responsibility. This allowed the technician to focus on other duties.

Mentored two new supervisors after promotion from technician position.

Assisted in relocation of Packaging equipment from the Oklahoma facility to the Reading PA facility.

Interviewed and hired employees to staff new department. Staffing required of approximately 40 employees.

Developed team of technicians and machine crew leaders to ensure product compliance and schedule adherence.

Responsible for up to 45 employees.

Supervisor Packaging Department 1992 – 2003 Oklahoma Facility

Oversaw Packaging Department growth from 14 employees to 40 employees. Department went from 2 packaging machines to 6 packaging machines.
