Worked with Manufacturing Worldwide Company building service equipment for commercial airlines. Construction Coordinator for Fluor in Oregon building bridge structures OBPD program. Working as a Project Engineer for bridge contractor on two movable bridge projects in the State of Florida, Treasure Island Bridge, and Johns Pass Bridge. Starting in 2004 thru 2005 I worked for the design firm EC Driver as a C.E.I. Project Manager and Senior Bridge Inspector on the Venice Ave. Drawbridge Rehabilitation Project located in Sarasota County Florida. My past experience has been with the State of Florida Transportation for _30_ years. I was promoted to seven higher level positions during my employment with the State of Florida, and held the classification of a Civil Engineer IV. During this timeframe I held various work titles and descriptions along with various engineer duties. I have completed the Federal Civil Engineer Core exams for Level I and Level II within, and during my employment with the State of Florida. I have managed and directed a team of _5_ engineers with the titles of Roadway & Bridge, Traffic Services, Roadside Maintenance, Contracts Engineering, and Permit Operations. My main focus and experience has been in the area of project management for variety of projects relating to movable bridges. During this period of employment I was assigned to the statewide task team to develop bridge standards, and consolidate procedures for operations. This program has been accepted as the departments established statewide requirements. The publication produced is called the Bridge Operations, and Maintenance Manual. Administrative duties included the fixed bridges, movable structures and fracture critical elements within the statewide systems. For my accomplishments during this period I received the Bill Dean Bridge Award for 1994 thru 1995.
